Palestine Islamic Bank Donates a Car for the Transportation of Patients and the Elderly in Hebron
Palestine Islamic Bank donated an electric car for the transportation of patients and the elderly from the Bab Al-Zawiya area to the outskirts of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of Hebron and vice versa.
The car was delivered to Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the presence of its Chairman, Mr. Abdo Idris, and a number of its board members, as well as businessman Mazen Sagheer. Representatives of the Bank included Director of the Southern District Nizar Bali, and Mohammed Al-Hour Manager of Wadi Al-Tuffah Branch.
PIB allocates a large part of its Social Responsibility Program budget to support the health sector; considering its investment in the welfare of citizens an important means to achieving growth and building the economy and the nation.
The Bank also affirmed its strong relationship with Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praising their initiative in alleviating the burdens of citizens in the city and strengthening their resilience; noting Hebron’s special status at the various economic, religious and social levels.
For his part, Chairman of Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Abdo Idris, thanked PIB for its provision of an electric car; deeming the Bank’s responsiveness to the needs of its community an indication of its belonging thereof.
Palestine Islamic Bank offers banking services compliant with the principles of Islamic Sharia through 44 branches and offices, eight of which are located in Hebron governorate, in addition to more than 80 ATMs distributed nationwide.
