Palestine Islamic Bank Organizes a Volunteering Activity in Beitunia in Partnership with the Municipality
Palestine Islamic Bank organized a volunteering activity in the city of Beitunia in cooperation with the municipality, which included painting and cleaning work for sidewalks.
The day’s activities kicked off with the participation of PIB General Manager, Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, the executive management, and the bank’s team of volunteers, in addition to the attendance of the Mayor of Beitunia, Mohammad Al-Taher, along with a number of the municipality’s staff and employees.
Dr. Al-Sadi said that this activity is part of the volunteer work program that the bank implements annually across various governorates of the country, stemming from the bank’s sustainable social responsibility policy and its keenness to promote a culture of volunteerism among employees, given its important role in strengthening their sense of belonging to their community.
Al-Sadi added: “We are proud to be here with our partners at the Beitunia Municipality in this volunteering activity, out of our belief that partnership with other sectors contributes to maximizing the impact of interventions and contributions that serve the community. This year, we carried out dozens of interventions as part of our sustainable social responsibility program, in partnership with many institutions across various governorates of the country.”
For his part, Mayor Mohammad Al-Taher thanked PIB and its General Manager, Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, for this kind gesture, which affirms the depth of partnership with the private sector aiming at serving our people.
Prior to the volunteering activity, a meeting was held between PIB’s delegation and the municipality’s management, attended by the municipality’s Executive Director, Khader Shaheen, and the Head of the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Zakat Committee, Rabhi Dawla.
PIB’s sustainable social responsibility policy underscores the necessity of contributing to the development process and playing an active role in serving the community, providing relief to our people, improving their living conditions, and strengthening their resilience amid the difficult circumstances they are experiencing, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
