PIB supports Dar-Al-Quran Al-Karim in Hizma
As part of its Sustainable Social Responsibility Program, Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) offered its support to Dar-Al-Quran Al-Karim in Hizma, Jerusalem Governorate.
Mohammed Al-Helou, Dar-Al-Quran Al-Karim General Director, hosted the Bank’s delegation, headed by Abdalla Al Masaeed, Director of the Middle District. The Delegation was briefed on the facilities, activities, and services Dar-Al-Quran Al-Karim offers to the local community.
Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, PIB General Manager, stated that this support is aligned with the Bank’s mission, essentially resting upon Sharia principles and provisions. He noted that PIB is keen on supporting establishments involved in teaching and the Noble Quran in instilling its principles among community members, encouraging them to memorize It, and inviting them into learning Islam.
Moreover, he reiterated that supporting Quran Teaching centers also falls within the Bank’s direction to support the educational sector as a pillar of the annual Social Responsibility Program, and as a vital and essential sector for achieving sustainable development. He also noted that such support forms a part of the Bank’s continuous efforts aimed at fostering the resilience of Jerusalem-based institutions.
The management of Dar-Al-Quran Al-Karim in Hizma expressed its gratitude to PIB for its support. It also called upon the consolidation of efforts amongst all establishments and bodies to promote the teaching of the Holy Quran and instill its teachings among children and youth, as an essential element for fostering religious and ethical values.
PIB’s Sustainable Social Responsibility Policy attaches the utmost importance to the Bank’s contribution to development. It also stresses on having an active role in serving the community, ensuring our People’s relief, enhancing their quality of life, and fostering their resilience amidst difficult living conditions, in line with the global sustainable development goals.
