PIB provides support to two schools in Hebron and Tulkarm

As part of its CSR program, PIB provided support to two schools in the governorates of Hebron and Tulkarm.

In Hebron, manager of PIB Southern District, Nizar Bali, visited the Hebron Industrial School and met its principal Mr. Ziad Al Qawasmeh to better understand the educational process and needs of the school in the presence of Dr. Ayman Jweleis, member of the Sharia Supervisory Board at PIB.

Mr. Al Qawasmeh expressed his appreciation of the support granted by PIB and called for joint efforts to support the education sector, namely industrial education in light of the urgent needs for graduates of industrial and vocational schools on the local market.

In Tulkarm, the bank contributed to supporting the Jamal Abdel Nasser Secondary School by providing teaching aid tools. PIB Tulkarm Branch Manager Ammar Yassine visited the school and met with the principal Mrs. Nisreen Barakat to better understand the situation of the school and teaching process.

Mrs. Barakat thanked PIB for its support and confirmed that it will indeed contribute to the teaching staff efforts in providing highest quality education services to students.

PIB General Manager Dr. Imad Al-Sadi stated that the bank allocates a large part of its annual support to the education sector as a vital sector for sustainable development.

Al-Sadi added that the bank provided support to dozens of educational institutions since the beginning of the year in addition to backing scientific research through its annual scientific research award aimed at encouraging researchers to conduct important studies that add value to current knowledge.
