PIB supports the fitting of a meeting room for UNRWA schools in Rafah
As part of its CSR program, PIB provided support for the fitting of a meeting room for principals of UNRWA schools in Rafah, in coordination with the Central Council for Legal Guardians.
The room was fitted with supplies needed by school principals for their various meetings aiming at discussing means to develop and enhance teaching methods along with other issues of interest for schools and students.
PIB delegation recently took part in the meeting room inauguration ceremony along with school principals in the Rafah area, and members of the Central Council for Legal Guardians at UNRWA schools.
PIB General Manager Dr. Imad Al-Sadi stated that the bank prioritizes support to the education sector within its CSR program as a vital sector for sustainable development, further adding that PIB has provided support to dozens of educational institutions since the beginning of the year in order to develop their capacities and enhance the quality of their educational outputs.
Dr. Al-Sadi added: “We provide support to educational institutions at different stages in addition to our annual PIB scientific research award aimed at encouraging researchers to conduct more research and publish distinguished studies that add value to current knowledge”.
From its part, the Central Council for Legal Guardians expressed its appreciation of PIB’s support and commended the bank’s continuous contributions to support the learning journey of students.
