Palestine Islamic Bank Provides Support to Halhul Municipality

Palestine Islamic Bank provides support to Halhul Municipality in order to help them better serve the citizens.

A delegation from the Bank including Nizar Bali, Director of the Southern District, and Ali Humouz, Manager of Halhul Office, conducted a visit to the municipality where they were received by Mr. Hijazi Mere’b as well as by a number of the municipal board members and municipality employees.

During the visit, the two sides discussed the prospects of joint cooperation between both institutions; during which Bali had praised the outstanding efforts exerted by Halhul Municipality in serving the citizens, stressing the strong relationship in which the Bank enjoys with the local authorities throughout the country.

PIB is interested in the development of the local community and is keen on meeting its needs and opening channels of communication thereof in order to ensure better service to citizens and to achieve integration between the roles of different national institutions.

For his part, Mr. Hijazi Mere’b, Mayor of Halhul, thanked PIB for its donation, praising the Bank’s role in supporting the national institutions and calling for further cooperation between both institutions.

Palestine Islamic Bank has the largest Islamic banking network in Palestine with 44 branches and offices, 8 of which are located in Hebron governorate, in addition to a large network of over 80 ATMs spread nationwide.
