Palestine Islamic Bank Provides Support to Autism and Learning Disabilities Center in Nablus
Palestine Islamic Bank provided support to the local committee for the rehabilitation of disabled persons in Al-Ein Refugee Camp, so as to help them in providing equipment and furniture for the Autism and Learning Disabilities Center.
The delegation of the Bank which visited the committee included each of the Manager of Nablus Branch, Mr. Bashar Al Shareef, and the Office Director of Al-Quds Open University, Mr. Hussein Dissouki, whereas they were received by the Head of the Committee’s Administrative Body, Mr. Nader Khalid, the Director of Local Committee, Mrs. Raeda Al Masri, Mr. Nasir Taim, and the Special Education Specialist, Mrs. Leena Khalid, in addition to a group of volunteers, promoters and children.
The Bank pays particular attention to supporting persons with disabilities, and works to promote and strengthen the institutions which offer them services, in order to ensure a decent life for such important segment of society.
Concerning the social responsibility program, the Bank focuses on supporting health and education sectors, due to its firm belief that such sectors form solid foundations for building a strong society and functioning economy. Along with the direct support, the Bank provides funding programs for the obtainment of health services, or the payment of tuition fees in installments at the original rate, without any increase. Such programs are considered as contribution to the public’s obtainment of proper health and educational services.
On his part, the Head of the Administrative Body of the Local Committee for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons in Al-Ein Refugee Camp, Mr. Nader Khalid, thanked Palestine Islamic Bank for its donation, while expressing his pride in partners and supporters who contribute to facilitating access to services needed by persons with disability.
