Palestine Islamic Bank Brings the Joy to Children at Childhood Protection Center in Tulkarm
Palestine Islamic Bank organized an event with the kids of “Child Protection Center of the Palestine Red Crescent Society” in Tulkarm, the event took place last week where the kids were presented with many gifts and enjoyed several entertainment segments.
PIB staff welcomed the kids with a celebration full of joy and distributed balloons, then everyone had their Iftar meal which was followed by an entertaining competition directed to the audience that contained a singing segment and a variety of questions, followed by the segment of “Eid Clothing” through which the kids will be able to buy their Eid clothes under the supervision of the center. Finally, children and staff headed to an entertainment center where they had a great time playing.
Among the top priorities for the social responsibility program for PIB are education and health, the program pays special attention to kids with special needs and especially the residents of foster homes, in order to bring joy and pleasure to the hearts of these children, which the bank considers a moral and religious duty towards the community.
Ms. Doha Al Wazany – Public Relations Manager at Palestine Islamic Bank said that the strategy followed by the bank for social responsibility program aspire to achieve sustainability and create a positive impact in society and empower categories that are in most need, pointing that many effective partnerships the bank establish aim to achieve this strategy.
Al Wazany considered the voluntary contribution PIB staff provide for these social activities as a continuation to the Bank’s strategy that’s based on enhancing volunteering spirit and participations, pointing to other volunteering programs like “Masarat Baladi” initiative, through which, the bank aims to preserve these site and grow the presence in, in addition to internal campaigns among the staff like “Onshour Basma” campaign.
