Palestine Islamic Bank Donated to Build New Classrooms for Hizma Boys School
Palestine Islamic Bank donated to building new classrooms at Hizma elementary boys school in Jerusalem district with the goal of empowering the educational process and providing the needed tools for it.
The opening ceremony of the classrooms was held at the schoolyard and attended by PIB member of board Dr. Majid Al-Hilu and the general manager Mr. Bayan Qasem and director of the education of the Jerusalem Suburbs Bassam Tahboub, in addition to the head of Hizma municipality Mrs. Samar Daif Allah and a number of municipality members along with the school staff and a group of Hizma residents.
PIB member of board Dr.Majid Al-Hilu affirmed that the bank gives special attention to supporting various national institutions in Jerusalem city and its district with a goal to enhance the steadfastness of residents of the holy city.
Al-Hilu pointed out that Palestine Islamic Bank aims to achieve a positive and sustainable impact through the projects it supports and the contributions it makes to achieve sustainable development in the Palestinian society.
The school principal accompanied PIB’s representatives and some honorary figures on a tour of the facilities of the school that was recently built and spoke about the most important challenges facing the school, thanking Palestine Islamic Bank for its support to the school.
It's worth mentioning that Palestine Islamic Bank dedicated part of its social responsibility budget to support education and health sectors since the bank considers them two essential sectors in every human life.
