Palestine Islamic Bank Announces Resumption of Operations at Gaza Branch Starting Thursday, 16 October 2025
Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) announced that it has completed preparations to resume operations at its Gaza Branch on Omar Al-Mukhtar Street, where it will begin receiving and serving customers starting Thursday, 16/10/2025.
PIB General Manager Dr. Imad Al-Sadi stated that the bank’s team has been working around the clock in recent days to prepare the main Gaza branch to welcome customers and serve them. Current working hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Al-Sadi added: “We are currently providing our services through the Deir Al-Balah Branch, which continued operating under the most difficult and dangerous conditions during the war. With the resumption of services at the main Gaza branch, we can now serve a larger number of customers and help them access their accounts and use banking services. This is in line with the Board of Directors’ ongoing directives to serve our customers in the Gaza Strip and to spare no effort in enabling them to access their accounts and benefit from our services.”
Al-Sadi explained that the bank offers customers a number of digital channels to access their accounts and request banking services quickly, easily, and around the clock, notably the mobile banking application, which provides a high-level set of services that customers can obtain without needing to visit branches.
