PIB and the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Discuss Joint Cooperation

Sheikh Mohammed Najm, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, hosted a delegation from Palestine Islamic Bank, headed by Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, PIB’s General Manager. The meeting discussed means to promote joint cooperation at multiple levels.

At the onset, Al-Sadi congratulated Sheikh Mohammed Najm on his appointment. He noted that he was confident that Najm would offer an added value to the Ministry and contribute to the development of its affairs and activities.

On his end, Najm welcomed the delegation and shed light on the importance of fostering relations between the Ministry and PIB in particular and the Islamic Banking sector in general, namely since cooperation would positively impact services offered to citizens.

During the meeting, Al-Sadi stated that PIB is proud to cooperate with the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs. He also underlined the Bank’s commitment to foster collaboration in various fields to serve citizens.

Al-Sadi mentioned: “We are always keen on offering the best services to our clients. Toward this end, we work on promoting our partnerships with various sectors and entities. Hence, I believe that we would be able to execute multiple joint projects and work in cooperation with the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, thus enabling our citizen’s access to a multitude of benefits.”

The meeting was held in the presence of Husam Abu Al-Rab, Deputy Minister, Mahmoud Hamad, Director General of the Department of Hajj and Umrah, and Mohammed Al-Qashqish, Director General of the Department of Financial Affairs. It was also attended by Walid Hatu, PIB’s Al-Masyoun Branch Manager, and Ibrahim Salman, Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
