The winners were announced in a ceremony organized in Ramallah in the presence of her Excellency the Governor Laila Ghannam, Companies Controller at the Ministry of National Economy Mr. Tarek Al-Masri and representatives of winning companies under different categories.

PIB General Manager Dr. Imad Al-Sadi said that the bank is proud to be nominated every year for several awards and surveys locally and internationally, adding that securing first place in the Excellence and Creativity survey confirms that PIB is on the right path and is offering its customers advanced Islamic banking products and a unique banking experience.

Al-Sadi added: “This success comes as a result of the wise vision of the Board, its strategic planning based on good governance and institutional excellence and the efficient execution of such plans by the Executive Direction of the Bank. We must also acknowledge the key role of the Sharia Supervisory Board in finding practical solutions in line with Sharia principles. I would like to thank the PIB family at all levels for their distinguished efforts, each in their own position”.

Al-Sadi further explained that the outstanding performance of the bank in 2021 was clear in its financial statements showing clear growth in all indicators. He also mentioned the bank’s achievements when it comes to its digital transformation plan including providing various digital channels for customers to enjoy banking services swiftly and easily around the clock. The latest of these features is IslamiTalk whereby customers can enjoy a variety of banking services by themselves just by dialing 1700220220.

Al-Sadi clarified that the bank’s achievements went hand in hand with its increased contributions in corporate social responsibility initiatives, since the bank provided support in 2021 to dozens of entities mainly in the health and education sectors as vital sectors for sustainable development.

The mission and vision of PIB revolve around providing comprehensive high quality and modern banking solutions, following the provisions of the Islamic Sharia laws, and investment within an advanced technological perspective. It also sets a deliberate strategy to proceed with the digital transformation process, which resulted in launching pioneering digital services such as the 24-hour digital contact center, Islami Online, and Islami Mobile, which offer a distinctive package of banking services through an easy and secure environment that enhances the digital experience for its individual and corporate customers.
