PIB and Carthage Company Sign an Agreement to Construct the Central Archive Building

Imad al-Sadi, General Manager of Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB), and Marwan Jumaa, Director of Carthage Contracting Company, signed an agreement for the construction of the Bank Central Archive Building in Jericho.

The agreement took place at PIB headquarters in Ramallah, in the presence of Carthage Company representatives, Zaher al-Sheikh and Ibrahim Barham, the General Manager of Madar Consulting Engineers, Hatem Jumaa, the Bank Assistants to General Manager, Asem al-Masri and Rami Taha, and other Department Managers in the Bank.

Al-Sadi said the Central Archive Project would lead to a qualitative leap for the Bank in matters of Data management, as it will serve as an integrated institutional memory.

“From the very beginning of this project, we made sure it would be accomplished following best standards for smart Buildings, in terms of both design and implementation,” al-Sadi added. “For this reason, we chose Madar Office and Carthage Company to design and implement the project due to their significant achievements and distinguished work in this field.”

Al-Sadi indicated that the building would also serve as an exemplary model for environmental preservation, as it is designed in accordance with the most up-to-date specifications of green buildings. Cutting-edge technologies will be adopted to conserve, generate and recycle energy, using advanced solar-based solutions.

On his part, Marwan Jumaa, Director of Carthage Contracting Company, said his company prides itself on its choice for the implementation of this distinguished project that has been designed according to the latest specifications. He stressed that the Company will accurately implement the designs following the best applicable standards and the optimal technical requirements for the implementation of these projects.

In turn, Hatem Jumaa, the General Manager of Madar Consulting Engineers, said that the building had been designed according to the latest specifications in terms of security, protection, environmental conservation, and electromechanical systems. He expressed the pride of Madar staff for this experience and outstanding relationship with PIB.
