Palestine Islamic Bank holds a Workshop on Deposit Insurance for its Employees in Gaza
Palestine Islamic Bank in Gaza, in cooperation with Palestine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC), has recently held a workshop for its employees, in the southern governorates, on the institution role in protecting depositors’ funds in the banking sector.
Whereas, PIB’s Gaza General Director, Adnan Al Faleit, and the institution’s Director in Gaza Al Nasser Al Shawwa, took the honor of opening the workshop.
Bayan Qassem, PIB General Manager, stated that the Bank’s main concern is providing utmost care to our depositors and ensuring that their savings are well-kept with the Bank; further emphasizing the importance of the role carried out by PDIC in stabilizing and strengthening the banking sector.
Additionally, Qassem confirmed the Bank’s adherence to the best global practices with regards to management of depositors’ funds, for safekeeping and development, according to the principles of Islamic Sharia’, in order to guarantee realization of the projected economic developments.
Qassem also stated that PIB regularly holds seminars and workshops, for its employees, aimed at furthering their development, experience and skill enhancement, thereby enabling them to provide clients with an outstanding banking experience; noting that such practices are carried out in accordance with a strategic plan for management and development of the Bank’s human capital.
Moreover, Qaasem stated that: “we view our clients as partners; accordingly we attach great importance on providing them with the best products and services. We are also keen to cooperate with national institutions which contribute to developing their businesses and ensuring their rights”.
