PIB launches new and updated version of its “Islami Mobile” application

With advanced digital features and services

The Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) launched a new and updated version of the “Islami Mobile” application as part of its digital transformation strategy, aiming at enhancing its digital channels.

The new application gives PIB customers access to a number of advanced digital features and services to meet all their needs and allow them to enjoy fast and easy banking services, around the clock. The application is designed to provide any services that could be developed in the future and to keep up with the constant changes and updates to the systems and requirements of the regulatory environment.

PIB General Manager, Dr. Imad Al-Sadi said that despite all the difficult circumstances and challenges that our people are enduring, continued work and achievement is an important factor of resilience. He noted that launching the updated version of “Islami Mobile” is in line with the digital transformation strategy of the bank and offers enhanced digital solutions for retail and corporate customers, enabling them to enjoy fast and easy banking services, around the clock.

Dr. Al-Sadi emphasized that the new “Islami Mobile” application is part of a series of digital products and services recently launched by the bank as part of its digital transformation plans. This represents a quantum leap for PIB’s customers and offers many new services that will enhance their banking experience through a fast and seamless environment while maintaining the highest levels of security.

Al-Sadi added: “The new version of the “Islami Mobile” application offers a number of special services added based on our study of customer needs. For example, customers will now be able to directly open a sub-account for their existing account, and control their cards at any time in terms of freezing or activation, enable or disable online purchases, and many other services. We believe these features and services will contribute to raising the levels of financial inclusion by enabling citizens in all regions to access banking services not only in areas where the bank's branches and offices are located.”

The message and vision of PIB is centered around excellence in providing modern and safe banking and investment solutions, in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia. PIB has also developed a strategy to proceed with the digital transformation process that resulted in the launch of pioneering digital services such as the digital call center, IslamiOnline services and Islami Mobile, which provide a distinguished range of banking services through an easy and secure environment that enhances the digital experience of individual and corporate customers. PIB is the largest Islamic banking network in Palestine with 43 branches and offices and 100 ATMs.
