PIB Launches Campaign to Encourage University Students to Use Electronic Payment Solutions

PIB launched the "For Every Student" campaign for university students to encourage them to use electronic payment solutions.

The campaign includes opening a savings account and issuing a prepaid card and an ATM card for free with the opportunity to enter a draw for 20 cash prizes of $ 100 each, in addition to an instant gift when opening the account at the bank. Students can increase their chances of winning with each payment transaction using cards or when paying through the E-SADAD service.

PIB General Manager, Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, said that this campaign aims to encourage university students to use electronic payment solutions instead of traditional methods of payment. As university students are the future generation and have a great impact on society and its orientations, it is important to stress that the use of these cards and the E-SADAD service does not entail any additional costs for customers, but rather saves time and effort and is available around the clock.

Al Sadi added: "This campaign is in line with our digital transformation strategy and efforts to encourage customers to use digital financial services and electronic payment solutions and reduce the use of cash since this enhances financial inclusion and promotes economic development in Palestine."
