PIB Commends the Role of the Police and Security Forces in Maintaining Security and Enforcing Law and Public Order
The Director General of the Police, Major General Yusuf Al-Helou, received a delegation from Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB), headed by General Manager Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, at his office in the city of Ramallah.
At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Al-Helou welcomed the guest delegation, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation between security services and all sectors of society in a way that contributes to confronting negative events, imposing the rule of law and achieving security and safety despite all the challenges and difficulties faced by our people and institutions. He added that the police force is committed to its duties as well as quick response in dealing with any attacks or crimes perpetrated by outlaws in order to bring them to justice.
Major General Al-Helou also stressed that the police, security services, citizens and various institutions are partners in maintaining security and public order, and that working to achieve this required an integrated approach.
In turn, Al-Sadi conveyed the greetings of the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of PIB to Major General Yusuf Al-Helou and the security services, thanking them for their great role in protecting citizens and national institutions and for swiftly countering any attacks or illegal acts, the latest of which was their swift response to the robbery operation against the bank's office in the town of Dar Salah in the Bethlehem Governorate. In fact, the police was able to reveal the identity of the suspects within a record time and worked on bringing them to justice.
Al-Sadi also stressed the importance that PIB attaches to the safety of its customers and employees in the first place, confirming that the recent attack will not affect the Dar Salah office that is welcoming customers as usual during daily working hours.
The meeting was attended by the PIB Assistant General Manager for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Rami Taha, the Director of the Marketing and Public Relations Department, Ibrahim Salman, and the Director of the Legal Affairs Unit, Firas Zuhd.
