PIB supports Jenin camp charity Al Jaleel Society for Care and Community-Based Rehabilitation

As part of its Sustainable Social Responsibility Program, Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB) granted its support to Al Jaleel Society for Care and Community-Based Rehabilitation – a charity association based in the Jenin Refugee Camp.

PIB’s support aims to assist the Association in improving the social, economic, and environmental conditions of disabled individuals and their families.

Majid Kharoub, Director of the North District, and Ashraf Lahlouh, Manager of PIB’s Jenin Branch, visited the headquarters of the Association where they met with its management team. During the visit, they explored the needs of the Association and the services it offers to individuals with special needs and their families.

Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, PIB General Manager, stated that the Bank never hesitates to support disabled individuals and associations engaged in offering care and adequate services to such individuals. In this respect, PIB has supported many associations in the Country as of the beginning of 2023.

Al-Sadi also mentioned that the efforts of PIB in favor of disabled individuals are not limited to supporting associations engaged in their care. In fact, PIB is keen on ensuring that its transactions, services, and facilities are suitable for their conditions. Furthermore, the Bank has already introduced sign language for bank transactions and issued withdrawal and deposit vouchers in Braille.
