PIB launches a special campaign for encouraging the use of cards for payments
Palestine Islamic Bank has announced launching a special draw campaign to encourage customers to use the various cards offered by the Bank to make payments locally and abroad. The campaign will feature a draw for winning 24 cash prizes each amounting to twice the monthly card payments of the winner, whereby the maximum prize would be USD 500.
The Bank stated that the campaign will end on February 28, 2023. Draws will take place by the end of December, January, and February.
Commenting on the campaign launch, PIB General Manager, Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, noted that the campaign is aligned with the Bank’s digitization strategy. The campaign is also in line with the major efforts exerted by the Palestinian Monetary Authority and aims at encouraging the use of digital financial services and e-payment solutions, reducing cash payments, and enticing citizens to keep pace with the various advancements in financial services, thus contributing to fostering financial inclusion and promoting comprehensive economic development.
Al-Sadi added: “This campaign is part of a series of discounts and privileges offered by the Bank’s cards locally and abroad, namely through World Mastercard and Platinum Mastercard. It offers the possibility of settling purchases by installments, free entry to airports lounges, discounts on hotels and trips bookings, and shopping discounts, among others. All such offerings aim at encouraging customers to use their cards for purchases, and letting go of traditional payment methods that are no longer aligned with this era’s requirements.”
PIB’s mission and vision focus on providing quality and modern Sharia-compliant banking solutions and investing in technology.
