Palestine Islamic Bank launches it latest digital service “Islami Talk”

Palestine Islamic Bank has launched its new service “Islami Talk”, which is a part of its digital transformation strategy. The “Islami Talk” service provides the customers with a package of banking services that are quick and easy to use 24/7.

The newly launched service works through an interactive voice system, which can be accessed by calling the bank’s direct number 1700-220-220.

PIB’s General Manager, Mr. Imad al-Sadi, introduced this new service as being another addition of a range of digital services and channels that the bank has rolled out.

Mr. Al-Sadi added, “Today, our customers have access to banking services through a variety of digital channels that include Islami Talk, Facebook, WhatsApp and the Bank’s website. These channels are in addition to the Bank’s Islami Online and Islami mobile services which are also part of the digital services that the bank offers”. Mr. Al Sadi also noted the importance of these services in light of the current COVID related health protocols that the world is facing, which requires minimizing the numbers of customers visiting the branches.

Mr. Al-Sadi also mentioned, “Our strategy in digital transformation and assisting the public to banking services contributes to enhancing the levels of financial inclusion in Palestine, which reflects the banks vision as a pioneer in Islamic Financial activities and services in Palestine and investing through a technological perspective.”

The mission and vision of PIB revolve around providing comprehensive high quality and modern banking solutions, following the provisions of the Islamic Sharia laws, and investment within an advanced technological perspective. It also sets a deliberate strategy to proceed with the digital transformation process, which resulted in launching pioneering digital services such as the 24-hour digital contact center, Islami Online, and Islami Mobile, which offer a distinctive package of banking services through an easy and secure environment that enhances the digital experience for its individual and corporate Customers. PIB has also recently won "The Best Islamic Bank Award" and “The Best Digital Bank Award" in Palestine for the year 2021, according to International Business Magazine (INTLBM).
