Palestine Islamic Bank and Palestinian National Security Forces Discuss Strengthening Social Responsibly Cooperation
General Manager of Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB), Imad al-Sadi, and Commander of National Security Forces, Major General Nidal Abu Dukhan discussed ways to strengthen social responsibility cooperation between the two sides.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of National Security Forces in Ramallah in the presence of Assistant General Manager for Branches, Zayed Shqair, Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Ibrahim Salman, Advisor to the Commander of National Security Forces for Humanitarian and Social Affairs, Major General Saadeh Saadeh, Director of Public Relations and Media at the National Security Forces, Brigadier General Rana al-Khouli, and Manager of Falasteen al-Khair Foundation, Rula Salameh.
Al-Sadi reaffirmed PIB’s commitment and its role in sustainable social responsibility to support dozens of institutions annually throughout the Palestinian governorates. He praised the partnership between the Bank, National Security Forces, and Falasteen al-Khair Foundation which contributed to the relief of tens of families across the country by reconstructing their houses, affirming the Bank’s determination to maintain this partnership and increase support for projects implemented through it annually.
Al-Sadi also praised National Security Forces for their great efforts in terms of social responsibility, especially in the construction and rehabilitation of houses and schools. He emphasized the importance of these efforts in maintaining security and achieving stability as a solid basis for building the economy and preserving the achievements that have been accomplished, especially in the banking sector.
In welcoming the delegate, Major General Abu Dukhan appreciated the cooperation between both parties and Falasteen al-Khair Foundation during previous years, which resulted in the rehabilitation of many houses for families living under harsh conditions and in desperate need of help, and economic empowerment projects that helped families overcome difficult conditions and secure a decent life for them. Major General Abu Dukhan further expressed hope for this partnership to continue for the benefit of as many families as possible.
On her part, Mrs. Rula Salameh stressed the importance of existing cooperation with PIB for many years and the role it plays in helping tens of families across country governorates. She praised the wisdom of Major General Abu Duhkan and commended his belief in the importance of social responsibility and its role in strengthening the positive relationship between citizens and Security Personnel. She expressed hope that the private sector will follow the steps of PIB in their investment and the sound and transparent disbursement of social responsibility.
The partners agreed to move forward with their social responsibility efforts targeting the support of less privileged groups across country governorates.
The sustainable social responsibility policy of PIB focuses on the contribution it makes to the development process, and the role it plays in serving our society, relieving our people, improving their living conditions, and enhancing their resilience under the harsh conditions they suffer from. All this is done in harmony with the global sustainable development goals.
