Palpay and PIB Sign a Cooperation Agreement to Provide the Best Electronic Services to its Customers
Ramallah- Palpay Electronic Payment Services Company signed a cooperation agreement and strategic partnership with Palestine Islamic Bank in order to benefit from the distinguished electronic services provided by the company to the local community. The agreement was signed by the General Manager of PalPay, Muawiya Al-Qawasmi, and the General Manager of Palestine Islamic Bank, Imad Al-Sadi, at the headquarters of the Bank’s General Administration in Ramallah, in the presence of representatives from both parties.
As per the agreement, the Bank shall enhance the list of approved companies and institutions within the shipping and electronic payment services, which the Bank provides to its customers via its electronic platforms through an accessible, fast and secure environment.
Al-Sadi said that the Bank provides a unique package of electronic services to its customers, including the shipping and electronic payment services it provides through Islami Online and Islami Mobile services, noting that this agreement will constitute a useful addition to such services by expanding the list of companies approved for shipping and electronic payment.
Al-Sadi added: “We are proud of our partnership with Palpay which is making great efforts to provide advanced and secure payment systems, and we look forward to further cooperation to offer everything that is new to our customers and to facilitate the execution of payment processes in a quickly and easy manner and around the clock”.
On his part, Al-Qawasmi expressed his pride that Palestine Islamic Bank is one of banks joining Palpay electronic payment system, indicating that the company seeks to encourage all banks to join the electronic collection network due to its importance in facilitating the lives of citizens, promoting the culture of electronic payment and strengthening it locally and enhancing financial inclusion in Palestine.
Al-Qawasmi also stated that he currently considers PalPay electronic payment system to be a national system that benefits all groups and individuals of the Palestinian Society.
