Palestine Islamic Bank Provides Support to Bani Suhaila School

As part of its efforts to protect the environment and enhance the educational process, Palestine Islamic Bank has provided Bani Suhaila Basic School for Girls in Khan Younis with a solar energy system.

Mr. Mohammed Al-Taweel, Manager of Khan Younis branch at PIB, visited the school where he was received by Mr. Suleiman Shaat, Director of Education East Khan Younis, Mr. Manar Abu Khater, Director of the Administrative Department, Mr. Abdul Qader Abu Fesefes, Head of Public Relations Department in the Directorate, Dr. Magdi Al-Masri, member of the Parents Council and Ms. Saida Sabah, school principal.

The project meets the school’s need for electricity, facilitates its administrative work, and various activities; it also provides an appropriate learning environment to help students achieve a better education. Accordingly, PIB also encourages institutions and projects to rely on clean energy sources; whereas, the Bank operates 15 branches and offices by relying on clean energy intends to increase these numbers in the near future.

Furthermore, PIB allocates the bulk of its Social Responsibility Program budget to support the education and health sectors, and is committed to meeting the needs of institutions working in these sectors through a strategic plan that aims to have a positive and sustainable impact thereon. However, to achieve such, the Bank depends on partnership and integration with relevant national institutions.

For her part, Saida Sabah, principal of Bani Suhaila Basic School for Girls, thanked PIB for their support, while stressing that the Bank’s contribution will provide students with a better learning opportunity in an appropriate and suitable environment.
