Palestine Islamic Bank Provides Support to a Medical Center in Qabatiya
Palestine Islamic Bank provided monetary support to a medical center in Qabatiya – Governorate of Jenin.
The donation was delivered by a delegation from the Bank, including Khitam Abu Aita, Northern district Manager ; Mustafa Habaybeh, Jenin Branch Manager; and Mahmoud Nazzal, Qabatieh's Office Manager. The delegation was received by Mr. Bilal Assaf, Mayor of Qabatiya and Deputy Mayor Bilal Saba'neh.
“We believe that the best investments made are those made in our people. Therefore, in our Social Responsibility Program, we focus on dedicating our support to the sectors of health and education, which are the cornerstones of our society”, said PIB General Manager, Bayan Qasem.
Qasem further explained that the Bank is taking several steps towards supporting the health sector. These efforts include providing financial and in-kind support and contributing, through its employees, in voluntary work campaigns, as well as activating modern and Sharia-compliant financing formulas such as the “Forward Lease”, which is applied via the “Medical Services Instalment Program”, launched by the Bank during the previous year.
Moreover, Qasem stated that the “Medical Services Instalment Program” allows the public access to medical services from various facilities accredited by the Bank at the same rate of original cost and via easy instalments reaching up to 12 months.
Additionally, Qasem expressed his pride in the Bank’s distinguished and fruitful partnerships which were built on the basis of providing for the needs of the Palestinian society; while stressing the fact that the Bank is always keen on making interventions, in various sectors that are intended to have a positive and sustainable impact on our society.
