Palestine Islamic Bank Provides Support of the Renal Failure Patients Association – Nablus
Palestine Islamic Bank provided support for the Renal Failure Patients Association – Nablus, in the presence of the Manager of Nablus Branch, Bashar Sharif, and Dr. Hisham Jabr, Director of the Association, including a number of its staff.
“We pay special interest to supporting the health sector, towards which we allocate a notable percentage of the Social Responsibility Program’s budget”, said PIB General Manager, Bayan Qasem; while ensuring everyone’s right to receive necessary medical care.
Qasem further noted that the Bank does not only seek to provide support to the health sector but strives to alleviate the burden of citizens and help them obtain the treatment in which they need. The Bank’s efforts are conveyed through launching the “Medical Services Instalment Program”, which allows the public access to medical treatment, examinations and various surgical operations. The cost of such services can be made via easy instalments in a manner that suits the financial situation of beneficiaries; without any added value to the original cost of said medical service. This has been made possible due to the cooperation of a large number of hospitals, health centers and private clinics in various governorates of the country.
Qasem expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the members of the Renal Failure Patients Association for their efforts in serving the patients; noting that this cooperation between the various national institutions is viewed as an integrated approach towards serving the interests of all Palestinian citizens.
For his part, Dr. Hisham Jaber, Director of the Renal Failure Patients Association, thanked PIB for their donation, observing that this is a confirmation of the Bank’s interest and sincerity in their affiliation to our society.
Jaber added that, the Association serves more than 300 renal failure patients, in Nablus governorate, by providing them with medicine and helpful advice, and by providing them with transportation from their place of residence to the University Hospital in Nablus; in addition to organizing various activities and trips for its members.
