Palestine Islamic Bank Supports Children with Down Syndrome

Palestine Islamic Bank has provided monetary support to Al-Raheem Association – Down Syndrome Friends / Ramallah, to support the association’s activities in the service of children with Down syndrome.

The donation had been made during a visit, conducted by Raik Omar PIB Director of the Central District and Saad Al-Din Al-Saadi Al-Bireh branch Manager, to the association where they had met its General Manager, Mr. Haidar Mukhou.

“Children with Down Syndrome are an integral part of our society deserving of our support in order to be able to emerge and stand on their own within society”, said Bayan Qasem the General Manager of Palestine Islamic Bank, whilst stressing that the provision of special care will help them express their creativity and talents.

Additionally, Qasem pointed out that PIB’s Social Responsibility Program focuses on supporting different institutions to ensure the reflection of a positive and sustainable impact on the beneficiary groups; noting that the Bank targets different sectors, especially the health sector.

Qasem also praised Al-Raheem Association – Down Syndrome Friends for facilitating access of needed services to children with Down Syndrome.

For his part, Haidar Mukhou, Association’s General Manager, extended his gratitude to PIB for their donation, while advocating for further support for children with Down Syndrome.
