PIB Empowers Youth as Strategic Sponsor of the Nablus Employment Event
Under the strategic sponsorship of Palestine Islamic Bank (PIB), the Nablus Employment Event was launched in the city of Nablus, organized by the Nablus Governorate Employment and Training Council, with broad participation from representatives of public, civil, and private sector institutions.
The Nablus Employment Event aims to open new horizons for youth by providing hundreds of direct job opportunities, in addition to offering access to specialized training programs.
The event was inaugurated with the participation of Majed Kharoob, the Bank’s Northern Region Manager, along with several branch managers and bank employees in Nablus.
Dr. Imad Al-Sadi, General Manager of PIB, stated that the Bank’s participation as a strategic sponsor stems from its sustainable corporate social responsibility policy and its belief in the importance of contributing to the support of various segments and sectors of society.
Al-Sadi added: “Given the current difficult circumstances and the rising unemployment rates, efforts must be united to support and empower young people, and to create a fair and safe employment environment that contributes to reducing unemployment and strengthening the resilience of our people across all sectors. Today, our contribution reaffirms the importance of partnership between the public and private sectors in achieving these objectives.”
Al-Sadi praised the efforts of all parties involved in organizing the event, noting that it represents a pioneering and distinguished step in the field of employment initiatives and contributes to establishing a new employment culture that empowers youth and helps them reach job opportunities that meet their aspirations.
Through its dedicated booth at the event, the PIB introduced participants to its latest Islamic banking services and products, designed to meet their needs and keep pace with modern requirements.
A series of workshops, scientific sessions, and training programs will be held on the sidelines of the Nablus Employment Event on October 13–14, 2025.
