The Board of Directors is consisted of 11 esteemed members: Six representatives on behalf of the National Islamic Investments Company, a member representing the Foundation of Orphans Funds Development & Administration, three independent members and one small shareholders representative.


Mr. Maher Nash`at Masri – Chairman

Mr. Maher Nash`at Masri – Chairman - Representative of Islamic National Investments Corporation

Mr. Masri holds a BA and MA degree in economics from the American University of Beirut. He worked as an economist in Lebanon, UK, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Palestine. In 1996, he was elected to the Palestinian Legislative Council (Parliament) and later served as Minister of National Economy till 2005. As a Minister, he chaired the Palestinian Investment Promotion Agency (PIPA), Palestine Standards Institution (PSI) and Palestinian Industrial Estates and Free Zone Authority (PIEFZA).He was the Chairman of Palestine Capital Markets Authority from 2006 till 2014. Presently he is a member of the board of the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF) and the Palestine Stock Exchange


Mr. Talal Nasereddin

Talal Nasereddin – Deputy Chairman - Representative of Islamic National Investments Corporation

Mr. Talal Nasereddin is the Chairman of The National Bank (TNB) and one of its founding members since 2005, when it was known as the Al Rafah Microfinance Bank. Mr. Nasereddin is also the chairman and chief executive offer of the Birzeit Pharmaceutical Company.Mr. Nasereddin currently serves as the chairman ofseveral corporations such as Abraj Investment & Development, Petropal for Mineral Oils, Lotus Financial Investment Company, and as a board member at PalTel since 2004, and a member in the board of trustees of the St. Joseph Hospital in Jerusalem. He has served on the board of Palestine Investment Fund from 2002 to 2006 and was the head of the Conflict Resolution committee and a member of the Investments and the Remuneration committees. Mr. Nasereddin was also a board member of the Palestine Monetary Authority.

He established the Palestinian Federation of Industries and chaired it till 2003, and was instrumental in establishing the Palestine Trade Center in 1997 and the Palestinian Businessmen Association in 1998. Mr. Nasereddin was born in Jerusalem in 1949 and obtained a Master of Industrial Chemistry at the American University of Beirut in 1974.


Mr.Ahmad Hajhasan

Ahmad Hajhasan – Board Secretary - Representative of Islamic National Investments Corporation

Ahmad Hajhasan serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The National Bank (TNB) since the year 2010, and is one of the 50 most influential financial executives in the Middle East for the year 2016 according to Global Finance Magazine. Under his management, TNB witnessed several notable achievements and was awarded the fastest growing bank in Palestine and the Middle East for the year 2013. TNB is currently the second largest Palestinian bank, and has witnessed two M&A transactions during a period of 3 years. Mr. Hajhasan is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab American University of Jenin, and a board member of MEPS Palestine.

Mr. Hajhasan started his career as a lecturer of Finance in the Arab American University, before he serves in different positions in the financial regulatory field holding senior positions in the Palestine Monetary Authority and the Palestine Capital Markets Authority.

Mr. Hajhasan holds a two post graduate degrees in Finance and Financial markets, and a Bachelor degree in business administration, and is certified in the areas of risk management and money market trading.


Mr.Omar M. Masri

Omar M. Masri - Representative of Islamic National Investments Corporation

Omar M. Masri is the Vice Chairman of The National Bank (TNB) and a well-known businessman with 27 years of experience in the banking as well as oil & gas sectors. Since 2006, he has been the Group Managing Director of the Edgo group, a regional company with operations in the fields of oil& gas, power, water and infrastructure.Omar established and managed Atlas Investment Group (“Atlas”) in 1996, a regional investment banking firm, and in 2004, the Arab Bank acquired Atlas and established it as the bank’s Investment Banking arm, known today as AB Invest. He was appointed as Arab Bank’s first Global Head of Investment Banking and represented Arab Bank on the boards of several affiliate and sister entities, including the Arab National Bank in Saudi Arabia.

He was the first individual in Jordan to be granted the Certified Financial Consultant, Broker and Investment Manager License by the Jordan Securities Commission. In 2004, Omar was invited to be a member of the Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFC) Practitioner Committee to assist in the establishment of the DIFC. In 2002, Omar founded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute’s Jordan chapter and became its first chairman.

Prior to establishing Atlas, he was a fund manager at Foreign & Colonial Emerging Markets in London, UK, where he structured and managed the first regional Middle East investment fund in the world, which was listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Omar has a B.B.A. in Finance from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. In 1990, he completed a two-year, intensive wholesale credit-training program at the Philadelphia National Bank/Wharton Business School in Philadelphia and subsequently managed the bank’s correspondent banking relationships in Thailand and Japan. Omar has been a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) since 2001 and was selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.


Dr. Salem Abu Khaizaran

Dr. Salem Mustafa Abu Khaizaran – Representative of Islamic National Investments Corporation

Dr. Abu Khaizaran holds an MD from Alexandria University and later specialized in Gynecology from British Royal College. He is a major shareholder and the general manager of Razan Medical Center; chairman of the Istishari Arab Hospital as well as chairman of Specialized Arab Hospital since 1999. He is a board member of Birzeit Pharmaceutical Company since 2010.


Mr. Salah Al-Daghma

Mr. Salah Fayez Al Daghma – Representative of Islamic National Investments Corporation

Mr. Al Daghma holds a BA degree in literature from Beirut Arab University. He served as head of tenders and procurement department of Abu Dhabi government for 20 years. He also served as general manager of Sheikh Zayed Institute. He is a business man with many business ventures in the area, particularly in the UAE. He is the owner of Dadco Export – Import Company in Germany.


Mr. Rafiq AL-Natsheh

Mr. Rafiq Shaker Al Natsheh – Representative of the Foundation of Orphans Funds Development & Administration

Mr. Al-Natsheh holds a BA degree from The Lebanese University, pre MA courses from the University of Cairo and pre PhD studies from Moscow University.

Presently, he heads the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission as well as the Chairman of the Foundation of Orphans Funds Development & Administration. Previously, he was the Palestinian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, minister of labor, minister of agriculture and speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council.


Dr. Majed Al-Helo

Dr. Majed Atta Al Helo – Representative of Small Shareholders

Dr. Al-Helo holds a PhD in Law from Abed Almalek Alsaady University, Morocco. He served as a legal advisor for State Audit and Administrative Control Bureau during 1996 – 1999 and assistant undersecretary at Palestine Pension Authority 1999-2013. He also serves as board member and deputy chairman at the Foundation of Orphans Funds Development & Administration and member of many local institutions boards. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Palestine Pension Authority with the rank of a minister


Dr. Anis Ahmad Al-Hajjeh

Dr. Anis Ahmad Al Hajjeh – Independent Member

Dr Al- Hajjeh holds a BA degree in business administration and economics from Birzeit University, an MA and PhD degree in business administration from the USA. He is currently a faculty member at the School of Business and Economics at Birzeit University. He was an adjunct faculty at New York University and Fairleigh Dickinson University in the United States. Dr. Al- Hajjeh served as general manager for the Commercial Bank of Palestine and Palestine Investment Bank, Regional Manager for the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, VP at Arab Bank New York, and Head of Credit and Administration at the Offshore Banking Unit, Arab Bank Bahrain. He served as consultant and board member in many organizations and advisor to Palestine Monetary Authority during its establishment. Dr. Al- Hajjeh is an accredited arbitrator in banking and finance.


Mr. Abdel Hamid Al Abwah

Mr. Abdel Hamid Fayez Al Abwah – Independent Member

Mr. Al Abwah holds a BA degree in accounting from Birzeit University, and an MA degree in accountancy from George Washington University, Washington, DC.

Presently he is the chief audit executive at Palestine Investment Fund in charge of the internal audit and risk management functions. He has over 20 years of experience in auditing and management consultancy services with the leading international accounting firms, locally and internationally.

Abed is a Canadian Chartered Accountant “CA”, a US Certified Public Accountant “CPA”, a Certified Internal Auditor “CIA”, and a Certified Information System Auditor ”CISA”.


Prof. Dr. Ali Abu Zuhri

Prof. Dr. Ali Zedan Abu Zuhri – Independent Member:

Prof. Abu Zuhri holds a PhD degree from Assiut University, Egypt 1976 in Analytical Chemistry. He served as a minister of education and a minister of transportation.

He was president of Al-Aqsa University, Gaza (2003-2009). He occupied different academic positions at An- Najah University and the United Arab Emirates University. In 2015, he was appointed as a President for the Arab American University, Jenin. Palestine.
